চণ্ডীপুরের কালো ঘণ্টা

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের এক প্রত্যন্ত গ্রাম—চণ্ডীপুর। চারদিকে ঘন জঙ্গল, কুয়াশায় ঢাকা পথ, আর গ্রামের শেষ প্রান্তে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে এক ভগ্নপ্রায় প্রাচীন মন্দির। গ্রামের মানুষ সূর্য ডোবার পর সেই দিকে যায় না। কারণ প্রতি মধ্যরাতে মন্দিরের কালো ঘণ্টা নিজে থেকেই বেজে ওঠে।
লোকমুখে শোনা যায়, বহু বছর আগে সেই মন্দিরের পুরোহিত এক ভয়ংকর তান্ত্রিক ছিল। অমরত্ব লাভের জন্য সে গোপনে নরবলি দিত। এক ঝড়ের রাতে গ্রামের মানুষ তাকে মন্দিরের ভিতর বন্দি করে আগুনে পুড়িয়ে মারে।
মৃত্যুর আগে পুরোহিত অভিশাপ দিয়ে বলেছিল—
“যেদিন কালো ঘণ্টা বাজবে, সেদিন মৃত্যুও ফিরে আসবে...”
তারপর কেটে গেছে সত্তর বছর।
এক বর্ষার সন্ধ্যায় চার বন্ধু—অর্জুন, রিয়া, সোহম ও তুলী—ভূতের গল্প নিয়ে ডকুমেন্টারি বানাতে চণ্ডীপুরে আসে। গ্রামের বৃদ্ধরা তাদের সতর্ক করে দেয়—
“মধ্যরাতের পরে ঘণ্টা যদি তিনবার বাজে... কেউ আর ফিরে আসে না।”
কিন্তু শহুরে চার বন্ধু এসব কুসংস্কার ভেবে হাসতে হাসতে জঙ্গলের ভিতর ঢুকে পড়ে।
রাত বাড়তেই অদ্ভুত ঘটনা শুরু হয়।
ক্যামেরা নিজে থেকেই বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। মোবাইলের নেটওয়ার্ক উধাও। জঙ্গলের অন্ধকারে কে যেন ফিসফিস করে ডাকে—
“ফিরে যা... ফিরে যা...”
হঠাৎ তুলী দেখে, মন্দিরের পুকুরপাড়ে এক লম্বা কালো ছায়া দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। তার গায়ে পোড়া কাপড়, চোখ দুটো জ্বলছে আগুনের মতো।
ঠিক তখনই—
ঢং...!
কালো ঘণ্টা প্রথমবার বেজে ওঠে।
মন্দিরের দরজা ধীরে ধীরে নিজে থেকেই খুলে যায়।
চার বন্ধু ভিতরে ঢুকে দেখে, দেয়াল জুড়ে শুকনো রক্তের দাগ আর অদ্ভুত সংস্কৃত মন্ত্র লেখা। অর্জুন একটি পুরনো ডায়েরি খুঁজে পায়। সেখানে লেখা ছিল পুরোহিতের ভয়ংকর সব তন্ত্রসাধনার কথা।
হঠাৎ—
ঢং...!
ঘণ্টা দ্বিতীয়বার বেজে ওঠে।
সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সমস্ত আলো নিভে যায়।
সোহম হঠাৎ অদৃশ্য হয়ে যায়।
তার ভয়ংকর চিৎকার ভেসে আসে মন্দিরের নীচের গোপন সুড়ঙ্গ থেকে।
অর্জুন, রিয়া ও তুলী সাহস করে সুড়ঙ্গে নামে। সেখানে তারা দেখতে পায় অসংখ্য কঙ্কাল আর মানুষের খুলি ছড়িয়ে রয়েছে।
হঠাৎ অন্ধকারের ভিতর থেকে বেরিয়ে আসে সেই পোড়া পুরোহিতের আত্মা!
তার হাতে ঝুলছে সেই কালো ঘণ্টা।
তার চোখ রক্তের মতো লাল।
তার মুখ থেকে পচা গন্ধ বেরোচ্ছে।
ঠিক তখনই—
ঢং...!
তৃতীয়বার ঘণ্টা বেজে ওঠে।
পুরো মন্দির কেঁপে ওঠে।
রিয়া হঠাৎ অদ্ভুত গলায় সংস্কৃত মন্ত্র পড়তে শুরু করে। মনে হয় কোনো অশুভ আত্মা তাকে ভর করেছে।
অর্জুন বুঝতে পারে, এই অভিশাপ থামানোর একমাত্র উপায় হলো কালো ঘণ্টাকে ধ্বংস করা।
বাইরে প্রচণ্ড ঝড় শুরু হয়।
অর্জুন একটি পাথর তুলে সমস্ত শক্তি দিয়ে ঘণ্টাটির উপর আঘাত করে।
ঘণ্টা ভেঙে যেতেই—
এক বিকট আর্তনাদে পুরো জঙ্গল কেঁপে ওঠে!
পুরোহিতের আত্মা আগুনের শিখায় পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে যায়।
সবকিছু নিস্তব্ধ হয়ে যায়।
পরদিন সকালে পুলিশ এসে দেখে মন্দির একেবারে ফাঁকা।
কেউ নেই।
শুধু অর্জুন বেঁচে ফিরেছিল।
কিন্তু গ্রাম ছেড়ে চলে যাওয়ার সময় সে আবার শুনতে পেল—
দূরের জঙ্গল থেকে ভেসে আসছে সেই ভয়ংকর শব্দ—
ঢং...
কালো ঘণ্টা আবার ফিরে এসেছে।

A Bengali Horror Movie Story

In the forgotten village of Chandipur, there stood an ancient temple hidden deep inside a dark forest. Nobody visited the temple after sunset, because every midnight, a mysterious black bell rang by itself.
People said the bell belonged to a dead priest who had vanished 70 years ago during a terrible storm.
One rainy evening, four college friends — Arjun, Riya, Soham, and Tuli — came to Chandipur to shoot a documentary about haunted places. The villagers warned them:
“If the black bell rings three times… someone will never return.”
The friends laughed and entered the forest with cameras and flashlights.
As night fell, strange things began happening. Their camera batteries drained suddenly. Whispering voices echoed through the trees. Tuli saw a shadowy figure standing beside the temple pond — a tall man wearing a torn black dhoti and holding a bell rope.
At exactly 12:00 AM…
DHOONG!
The black bell rang once.
The temple doors slowly opened by themselves.
Inside, the walls were covered with old blood marks and strange Sanskrit symbols. Arjun found an old diary revealing the truth:
Years ago, the temple priest had sacrificed villagers in secret rituals to gain immortality. But one stormy night, the villagers trapped him inside the temple and burned him alive.
Before dying, the priest cursed the village:
“Whenever the black bell rings, death shall awaken again…”
Suddenly the bell rang a second time.
DHOONG!
The lights went out.
Soham disappeared.
His terrified screams echoed from underground tunnels beneath the temple.
The remaining friends searched desperately and discovered a hidden chamber full of skeletons. In the darkness, the burnt priest slowly appeared — his eyes glowing red, skin melted, and hands carrying the cursed bell.
Then came the third ring.
DHOONG!
The temple shook violently.
The ghost attacked them one by one. Riya became possessed and started chanting ancient mantras. Arjun realized the only way to stop the curse was to destroy the black bell.
As thunder roared outside, Arjun smashed the bell with a heavy stone.
A horrifying scream filled the forest.
The ghost burst into ashes.
Everything became silent.
At sunrise, only Arjun survived.
Police later found the ruined temple empty.
But before leaving Chandipur, Arjun heard a faint sound from deep inside the forest…
DHOONG…
The black bell had returned.
